WE ARE

IVOIRE UNION is a non-profit organization headquartered
in Federal Way, Washington State, United States of America.

IVOIRE UNION's vision is
to build a Strong Ivorian community living in
the greater Seattle Area.

Challenges Ahead
The biggest
challenges facing IVOIRE UNION are: staying focused on key goals;
developing a strategy for accomplishing them; and generating a
set of tactics, operations, and actions that are aligned with
producing them. |

IVOIRE UNION's mission is to create a social environment that is both
reflective of our country long history of unity and hospitality.
By promoting and encouraging a strong tie among us through
various activities and programs.
IVOIRE UNION was created 14 years ago by the then President
Assouan Koffi with the help of some friends like Nzi Kouame,
Patrice Adjibly, Edouard Tieman and many other Ivorians living
in the Seattle area in the period of 1994.

Based on the belief that we, expatriates Ivorians living in the
Seattle area will spend the best part of our lives away from our
native country, the desire to form a strong community, educated
by the long history of peace and hospitality of our native land
became self-evident to many of us…hence the creation of IVOIRE
UNION.
MISSION
To create a social environment that is both
reflective of our country long history of unity and hospitality.
By promoting and encouraging a strong tie among us through
various activities and programs.
OBJECTIVES
To
promote and encourage stronger ties amongst the Ivorian
community through
various activities and programs. UI also seeks to create and implement various programs in order to
contribute to the recovery efforts in Cote D'Ivoire and to
intervene successfully in the international arena by
helping individuals become
more aware of the importance of coexistence and cooperation
among various cultures.
